Seaweed is one of the fisheries commodities that widely cultivated in Indonesia. The cultivation seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii) Coastal Waters Amal Baru, Tarakan City, traditionally done using longline method. gillnet method most used by farmers because it flexible choosing locations and relatively inexpensive. research aims to determine difference number seedlings on absolute specific growth rates. This study a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments 3 replications. Treatment P1 (1 bundle), P2 (2 bundles), P3 (3 P4 (4 bundles). results showed different numbers bundles influenced best treatment was found an average rate 80.00% 100%.
